The Small Business Reset
Your Small Business Co-Pilot
Guest Speaker | Toby Kheng
An evening of connection, conversation and practical inspiration in the Norfolk countryside.
There is something quite special about gathering with people who understand the realities of running your own business.
The excitement of building something meaningful. The freedom of doing things your own way. And, of course, the many hats, endless to-do lists and constant balancing act that often comes with self-employment.
At The Space, we've always believed that running a business feels a little lighter when we do it together. That's why we're so looking forward to our next Small Business Reset on Friday 25th September.
As we move into a new season, we're opening our doors once again for an evening designed to help you pause, reconnect with your business and leave feeling inspired about what comes next.
A Chance To Pause And Reset
So often, running a business means moving from one thing to the next without taking a moment to step back.
The Small Business Reset is an invitation to do just that.
To spend an evening alongside other freelancers, creatives and independent business owners. To step away from the noise, explore new ideas and return to your work with a little more clarity and confidence.
This time, we're turning our attention to a subject that many of us are curious about: artificial intelligence.
The Conversation Everyone Is Having
AI is changing the way we work, but for many small business owners it can still feel overwhelming, confusing or even a little intimidating.
Where do you start?
What tools are actually useful?
How do you use AI in a way that supports your business without losing the human qualities that make it special?
The truth is, most of us don't need complicated systems or large budgets.
What we need are practical tools that save time, help us think more clearly and support the parts of our businesses that often feel overwhelming.
This is exactly what our guest speaker, Toby Kheng, will be exploring.
AI As Your Small Business Co-Pilot
We're delighted to welcome Toby Kheng, founder of Freeformers, for an evening workshop exploring how small businesses can use AI confidently, responsibly and without the big business budget.
Rather than focusing on replacing the human side of business, Toby's approach is refreshingly different.
This is about learning how to build a practical assistant that can help you work more efficiently, organise your thoughts and support better decision-making, whilst keeping the creativity, relationships and intuition that make your business uniquely yours.

During the session, Toby will share practical ways to:
Use AI as a thinking partner rather than simply a search tool
Create better conversations with AI by giving it meaningful context
Save time on admin, planning and content creation
Check and challenge AI responses thoughtfully
Use AI in a responsible and ethical way that still feels human.
Whether you've never used AI before or have already started experimenting with it, this evening is designed to leave you feeling more confident, curious and empowered.
Time To Unwind
Because at The Space, we believe that learning and wellbeing can sit beautifully side by side, we'll close the evening with 30 minutes of restorative and uplifting yoga with Izzy.
After an evening of ideas and conversation, this gentle session will offer an opportunity to slow down, settle and create a little space to reflect.
No experience is needed – simply come as you are.
A chance to breathe deeply, release the busyness of the day and leave feeling calm, grounded and restored.
More Than A Workshop
As with all of our gatherings, the evening is about much more than the speaker.
It's an opportunity to:
Step away from your laptop for a few hours.
Meet other freelancers, creatives and independent business owners.
Share ideas, ask questions and spend time with people who genuinely understand the joys and challenges of building a business.
We'll gather together in our café space with drinks, nibbles and plenty of time to connect.
Because sometimes the most valuable thing we can do for our businesses is pause, take a step back and reset.
